Good Morning everyone,
¡¡Feliz 15 de Septiembre!! & Shana Tova!! In case any of you folks are wondering why everything is closed today, Costa Rica is celebrating their Independence Day today (our 4th of July if you will). September 15, 1821 was the day the Spanish withdrew their dominion over Central America and most Central American countries celebrate today as their independence day.  Additionally, today is the last day Rosh Hashanna, the Jewish New Year, is officially celebrated. May 5776 be a sweet and prosperous new year for all!!    

In any case, I'm a bit short on time as I'm heading out to meet my religious obligations. Just wanted to drop everyone a line and remind you this Wedneday night we will be reading Jim's Story p232-245.

Hi everyone, My apologies on sending this out late this week, I've been battling a little bit of a cold lately. Gutter Bravado p501-511

Good evening Folks, This week we will be reading & discussing  Gutter Bravado p501-511.   One of the great joys of my life is hosting this Wednesday night meeting of which I've had the privileged to serve for some time now. So it gives me a great sense of satisfaction whenever I hear someone, especially a new comer, say that there is  something  special about our meeting. To me it means that the same  something-ness  with which I fell in love with is still there.  Last week, Fred brought up an article originally written in the July 1976 issue of "24 Magazine". The Perpetual Quest p388-397

Good evening everyone, Before I get to the weekly reminder, I wanted to inform everyone, if you didn't know already, that this years  Manual Antonio AA International Convention  is coming up. The convention will be May 6, 7 & 8th (Fri thru Sunday). I think it would be awesome if we could get a group of the wednesday night men's group to go. I even got a hall pass from my significant other already!! You can check out the convention and  register online here  . There are no upfront fees, you pay when you show up. You do need to reserve a hotel room ahead of time and I'd like to get a head count so maybe we can split some rooms between us. Go ahead and take a look at the website and we can discuss everything at the end of the meeting this week.
