Chapt 7 - Hope - p145-164

Hello folks,

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Tomorrow is St. Patrick's day so stay indoors and avoid all contact with all leprechauns (except for Fred, He cool)!

This week we're reading chapter 7 on Hope.

Also, take note that we are reaching the end of the Being Sober and Becoming Happy book. It's time to start contemplating what comes next. Give it some thought and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi everyone, My apologies on sending this out late this week, I've been battling a little bit of a cold lately. Good evening Folks, This week we will be reading & discussing Gutter Bravado p501-511. One of the great joys of my life is hosting this Wednesday night meeting of which I've had the privileged to serve for some time now. So it gives me a great sense of satisfaction whenever I hear someone, especially a new comer, say that there is something special about our meeting. To me it means that the same something-ness with which I fell in love with is still there. Last week, Fred brought up an article originally written in the July 1976 issue of "24 Magazine". Good evening everyone, Before I get to the weekly reminder, I wanted to inform everyone, if you didn't know already, that this years Manual Antonio AA International Convention is coming up. The convention will be May 6, 7 & 8th (Fri thru Sunday). I think it would be awesome if we could get a group of the wednesday night men's group to go. I even got a hall pass from my significant other already!! You can check out the convention and register online here . There are no upfront fees, you pay when you show up. You do need to reserve a hotel room ahead of time and I'd like to get a head count so maybe we can split some rooms between us.
