End of Month Speaker Meeting

Good evening Folks, My apologies for sending this out late, I've been traveling back and forth out of San Jose and it just kinda throws me off a bit! In any case, HAVE NO FEAR because tomorrow is a SPEAKER MEETING which means... no reading!! Feels a bit like a free day to me! Looking forward to having our first speaker meeting here. I always enjoy getting to know someone's inner most grime, like they say birds of a feather flock together! See you all tomorrow! David

TRADITION SEVEN

Okay... so today is the kind of day I say  Better late than Never  in regards to sending this e-mail!! The good news for me is that if you were waiting on the arrival of this reminder to decide whether or not to make it... you probably weren't going to make it anyway!! This week we will be discussing TRADITION SEVEN from the Twelve & Twelve pgs 160-165. Seems like some people are getting a bit bored of the traditions (except for Todd, he seems to love them!!). However, they are undeniably an important part of AA. It seems to me that if we like what AA as a whole has given us, it should matter to us how to keep AA healthy for the newcomer and for our own continued sobriety. PLUS.... There's only 6 more left so suck it up!! Best regards, David t

Tradition FIVE pgs.150-154

Hello everyone, We've been having a good steady turn out at the meetings and the discussions have been excellent as always. This week we are going over TRADITION FIVE, pgs.150-154. (super long chapter). Its a shame La SELE lost. However, even in their defeat they brought honor to this tiny country of 4.8 million people. Step 10 pg93: "Even when we have tried hard and failed, we may chalk that up as one of the greatest credits of all." Progress, not perfection... Look forward to seeing everyone!       Best Regards, David t.
